Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted as a ballot initiative in November 1986.
As of August 20, 2018, we will be labeling any potentially hazardous materials or substances. Hoffman does not manufacture or market our own consumer products. However, the parts and components that we market may be directly or indirectly in contact with various consumer electronic products, which have potential to have chemicals deemed hazardous by the state of CA, via Prop 65. Proposition 65 Substances used by Hoffman may include, but are not limited to: lead-containing solder, nickel alloys/plating, and antimony trioxide bound in some plastics. Due to the use of Proposition 65 Substances in some of our products, Hoffman is providing proper warnings on every product item where appropriate.
